The invention relates to conformable and die-cuttable, biaxially stretch oriented monolayer and multilayer films comprising polyethylene, propylene or mixtures thereof. The films have a tensile modulus in the cross direction of about 150,000 psi or less. The films are particularly useful in the preparation of adhesive containing labestocks.
