ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Polyolefin compositions are describe having excellent dielectric properties and useful as electrical insulations. The polyolefin compositions contain as voltage stabilizers an alkylfluoranthene having the formula Image wherein R is an alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and x is an integer from 1 to 4. At least 0.5 parts by weight of the alkylfluroanthene are present per 100 parts by weight of polyolefin.
