A rubber composition which can be used in the production of pneumatic tyres, comprising at least: i) one diene elastomer; ii) one white filler as a reinforcing filler and iii) a coupling agent (white filler/elastomer), characterised in that said white filler is made of or partially made of titanium oxide having the following characteristics: a) the specific BET surface thereof is between 20 and 200 m?2¿/g; b) the average (mass) size of particles, noted as d¿w?, is 20 - 400 nm; c) the deagglomeration speed thereof, noted as .alpha., measured in the ultrasound deagglomeration test at 100 % rating of a 600 W ultrasonic probe, is more than 2.10?-2¿ µm?1¿/s. The inventive rubber composition can be used in the production of rubber articles, especially pneumatic tyres or semi-finished rubber products for said pneumatic tyres. Said composition is more specifically designed for use in the production of coloured pneumatic tyres or coloured semi-finished goods such as the treads or side walls of pneumatic tyres.
Composition de caoutchouc utilisable pour la fabrication de pneumatiques, comportant au moins: i) un élastomère diénique; ii) une charge blanche à titre de charge renforçante et iii) un agent de couplage (charge blanche/élastomère), caractérisée en ce que ladite charge blanche est constituée en tout ou partie d'un oxyde de titane ayant les caractéristiques suivantes: a) sa surface spécifique BET est comprise entre 20 et 200 m2/g; b) sa taille moyenne (en masse) de particules, notée dw, est comprise entre 20 et 400 nm; c) sa vitesse de désagglomération, notée .alpha., mesurée au test dit de désagglomération aux ultrasons, à 100 % de puissance d'une sonde ultrasons de 600 W, est supérieure à 2.10-2 µm-1/s. Utilisation d'une composition de caoutchouc conforme à l'invention pour la fabrication d'articles en caoutchouc, en particulier de pneumatiques ou de produits semi-finis en caoutchouc destinés à ces pneumatiques. La composition de l'invention est particulièrement destinée à la fabrication de pneumatiques colorés ou d'articles semi-finis colorés tels que des bandes de roulement ou des flancs de pneumatiques.
