The invention concerns a rubber composition vulcanisable in sulphur and designed for manufacturing tyre treads, comprising at least a diene elastomer, a white filler as reinforcing filler and as coupling agent (white filler/elastomer) a multifunctionalized polyorganosiloxane comprising per molecule: .alpha.) at least a first siloxyl unit bearing on the silicon atom at least one linear or branched C¿1?-C¿15? alkoxyl radical; and .beta.) at least a second siloxyl unit bearing on the silicon atom at least one radical of general formula Z-SH, Z being a linear or branched divalent bond, comprising preferably 2 to 30 carbon atoms.
Composition de caoutchouc vulcanisable au soufre et destinée à la fabrication d'enveloppes de pneumatiques; elle comporte au moins un élastomère diénique, une charge blanche à titre de charge renforçante, et comme agent de couplage (charge blanche/élastomère) un polyorganosiloxane multifonctionnalisé comportant par molécule: .alpha.) d'une part au moins un premier motif siloxyle porteur sur l'atome de silicium d'au moins un radical alkoxyle en C1 à C15, linéaire ou ramifié; et .beta.) d'autre part au moins un second motif siloxyle porteur sur l'atome de silicium d'au moins un radical de formule générale Z-SH, Z étant un groupement de liaison divalent, linéaire ou ramifié, comportant de préférence de 2 à 30 atomes de carbone.
