ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A diesel fuel heater for heating diesel fuel prior to its introduction into the diesel engine wherein said fuel heater comprises top and bottom covers and an elongate annular section. This fuel heater heats the fuel by passing engine coolant across fuel carrying fuel tubes located in the heat transfer chamber.
