Diesters of Guerbet Alcohols in Polycarbonates for Mold Release Abstract of the Disclosure This invention is directed to a diester of a (a) guerbet alcohol and (b) a member selected from the source group consisting of a dicarboxylic acid containing from 4 to 10 carbon atoms and mixtures thereof and where the guerbet alcohol contains a total of from about 16 to about 40 carbon atoms for use as a mold release agent in the production of polycarbonate resin compositions.
