This invention is directed to a dietary regimen and a unique combination of nutritional supplements and a method. More specifically, this invention is directed to a unique combination of nutritional supplements which provides symptomatic relief from arthritis. The unique combination of nutritional supplements of this invention is believed to function by both increasing the available (effective blood level) of anti-inflammatory agents and promotion of the healing/regenerative process in the effected joints, thus, producing unexpected and lasting symptomatic relief from the debilitating effects of both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. The essential nutritional supplements of the dietary regimen of this invention are as follows: (a) gamma linolenic acid (unrefined), hereinafter "GLA"; (b) a mixture of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaneoic acid, hereinafter collectively "EPA"; (c) a mixture of chondroitin sulfate, N-acetyl glucosamine sulfate, glucosamine sulfate and manganese aspartate, hereinafter collectively "CHONDROX". The regimen is adjusted based upon the weight of the individual, and once symptomatic relief is achieved, the individual remains essentially free from the debilitating effects of arthritis so as long the daily regimen is faithfully followed.
La présente invention concerne un régime alimentaire, une combinaison unique de compléments nutritionnels, ainsi qu'un procédé faisant appel à ces derniers. Cette invention concerne plus précisément une combinaison unique de compléments nutritionnels qui permet de soulager les symptômes de l'arthrite. Cette combinaison unique de compléments nutritionnels permet d'accroître le niveau efficace d'agents anti-inflammatoires disponibles dans le sang, ainsi que de favoriser le processus de cicatrisation/régénération des articulations atteintes, ce qui permet d'obtenir un soulagement symptomatique étonnant et durable en ce qui concerne les effets débilitants tant de l'arthrose que de la polyarthrite rhumatoïde. Les compléments nutritionnels essentiels de ce régime comprennent les éléments suivants: (a) un acide linoléique gamma non raffiné, appelé "GLA"; un mélange d'acide eicosapentanoïque et d'acide docosahexanoïque, appelé "EPA"; et (c) un mélange de sulfate de chondroïtine, de sulfate de N-acétyle glucosamine, de sulfate de glucosamine et d'aspartate de manganèse appelé "CHONDROX". Ce régime est adapté en fonction du poids de la personne qui, une fois le soulagement symptomatique obtenu, ne souffre pratiquement plus des effets débilitants de l'arthrite pour autant que le régime quotidien soit observé scrupuleusement.
