A downhole differential flow control valve (50) is provided that utilizes a differential pressure area having one pressure area on which the wellbore pressure (Pw) acts and a second area different from the first area on which pressure (Pt) in the tubing acts. The differential area reduces the load in which a spring (66) is required to exert a closing force in the valve. Thus, a coil spring can be used to improve the closing speeds of the valve. Image

L'invention concerne une soupape différentielle (50) de régulation d'écoulement, de fond de trou, qui utilise une zone de pression différentielle présentant une zone de pression (pw) sur laquelle agit la pression du trou de forage, et une seconde zone, différente de la première zone, sur laquelle agit la pression du tubage (pt). La zone différentielle réduit la charge pour laquelle un ressort (66) est requis pour exercer une force de fermeture dans la soupape. Ainsi, un ressort hélicoïdal peut être utilisé pour augmenter la vitesse de fermeture de ladite soupape.
