ABSTRACT A voltage reference for NMOS single supply integrated circuits is generated by a current generator which, through a current mirror amplifier, biases both an en- hancement mode MOS held field effect transistor and a depletion mode MOS field effect transistor, such that the desired voltage is equal to the difference between their threshold voltages.
