A differential SPR sensor in which a resonance wavelength can be determined independently without the need of determining a base line. The SPR sensor has, on a metal film, a face secured with a substance to be measured and a face not secured with the substance formed, wherein a plurality of dielectric films of different film thickness are formed on the metal film with the surface of one dielectric film serving as a reference face and the surfaces of other dielectric films serving as working faces, and the substance to be measured are secured to the surface of the dielectric films. Preferably, the sensor is a probe type SPR sensor with a working face and a reference face formed on the metal film forming the sensor face of the probe.

La présente invention concerne un capteur SPR différentiel dans lequel une longueur d'onde de résonance peut être déterminée indépendamment sans qu'il soit nécessaire de déterminer une ligne de référence. Ce capteur SPR possède, sur un film métallique, une face fixée avec une substance à mesurer et une face non fixée avec la substance formée. Une pluralité de films diélectriques de différentes épaisseurs sont formés sur ce film métallique, la surface d'un film diélectrique servant de face de référence et les surfaces des autres films diélectriques servant de faces d'utilisation. Les substances à mesurer sont fixées sur la surface de ces films diélectriques. Ce capteur est, de préférence un détecteur de type capteur SPR avec une face d'utilisation et une face de référence formée sur le film métallique constituant la face capteur de ce détecteur.
