The present invention relates to methods for classifying a sample as from a BRCA1-related tumour or from a spo-radic tumour based on copy number analysis of a numbers of genomic locations. The invention further provides sets of nucleic acid probes, arrays and kits comprising these sets and arrays, for use in the diagnostic and/or prognostic methods of the invention for tumour classification.
La présente invention porte sur des procédés de classification d'un échantillon comme provenant d'une tumeur se rapportant à BRCA1 ou provenant d'une tumeur sporadique sur la base d'une analyse du nombre de copies d'un certain nombre d'emplacements génomiques. L'invention porte également sur des ensembles de sondes d'acide nucléique, sur des puces à ADN et sur des kits comprenant ces ensembles et ces puces à ADN, pour une utilisation dans les procédés de diagnostic et/ou de pronostic de l'invention pour la classification de tumeurs.
