An air deflector designed as an attachment to fit a standard suspended drop ceiling system, below an overhead ceiling diffuser that is mounted in a ventilation duct. The deflector is securely suspended from the support rails and is attached along the perimeter of the defuser with a supporting lip on three sides and can be angled in four different directions. The downward flow of air out of the duct and through the diffuser is projected against the sloping edge of the deflector below and is redirected laterally and away from individuals or equipment located below the air diffuser.
