ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A system is provided comprising an information- bearing digital signal source, and a reference signal source. The reference signals have a predetermined phase relationship to the information-bearing signal. The arrangement includes a clock signal producing means and a digital filter. The clock signal producing means produces a clock signal with a predetermined phase relationship to the reference signal. The digital filter both demodulates and filters the information-bearing signal in response to the clock signal. In one embodiment of the invention, the color mixture signals of a television receiver are both demodulated and filtered.
