ABSTRACT Disclosed is a digital communications terminal which, in a simple manner, accepts a plurality of m formation blocks transmitted in parallel and is adapted to control a corresponding plurality of connected peripheral units which also require information of different quality. The terminal has- transmitting and receiving devices which communicate, on the one hand, with a transmission line arriving at the terminal and, on the other hand, with an internal data-transmission line through which the exchange of incoming data and information and outgoing data and information, and an internally generated pulse required for control, is in communication with code-converters connected to the data transmission line, with a synchronizing and signalling generator, with a micro-computer, with a synchronizing device, and also with peripheral data devices.
