A UV-transmissible window assembly for a DMD device includes a UV~transmissible glass window provided in a frame. The window and frame are bonded together to preferably effect a hermetic seal therebetween. Optical coatings specific to the intended wavelength of light transmission are applied to the inner and outer surfaces of the glass window to reduce reflection and increase light transmission therethrough. The window assembly, and DMD provided with the same, is adapted for excellent transmission of ultraviolet light, even at the deep ultraviolet portion of the spectrum. The DMD window assembly has application in the medical arts, both surgery and device manufacture, in the production of integrated circuits (IC), and in other optical lithography applications, among other fields.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble de fenêtre à transmission UV destiné à un dispositif DMD, lequel ensemble comprend une fenêtre de verre à transmission UV placée dans un cadre. La fenêtre et le cadre sont liés entre eux de façon qu'ils constituent de préférence un joint étanche. Des revêtements optiques spécifiques de la longueur d'onde prévue pour la transmission lumineuse sont appliqués sur les surfaces interne et externe de la fenêtre de verre afin de réduire la réflexion et d'augmenter la transmission lumineuse à travers cette dernière. L'ensemble fenêtre précité, et le dispositif DMD équipé de ce dernier, est apte à permettre une excellente transmission de la lumière ultraviolette, même dans la partie des ultraviolets profonds du spectre. L'ensemble fenêtre DMD de l'invention possède une application dans les arts médicaux, tant en chirurgie que dans la fabrication de dispositifs, dans la production de circuits intégrés et dans d'autres applications de lithographie optique, parmi d'autres domaines.
