A digital signal processing architecture for an audio system combines multiple functions in programmable and reconfigurable blocks to achieve an efficient use of hardware and chip area. AM, FM, and audio functions can be performed using the same reconfigurable hardware while taking into account the different sample rates and processing functions required for each.
L'invention se rapporte à une architecture de traitement de signaux numériques conçue pour un système audio qui combine des fonctions multiples dans des blocs programmables et reconfigurables de manière à parvenir à une utilisation efficace du matériel et de la surface occupée sur la puce. Il est possible d'exécuter des fonctions AM, FM et audio au moyen du même matériel reconfigurable tout en tenant compte des différents taux d'échantillonnage et des différentes fonctions de traitement à utiliser avec chaque type de signal.
