Abstract of the Disclosure A digital signal processor suited for LSI fabriction comprises a data input circuit for carrying out scaling on a plurality of serial data supplied through a first external terminal group; a coefficient input circuit for carrying out 2's complementary conversion on a plurality of specific data out of a plurality of serial data supplied through a second external terminal group; a multiplier circuit operative to receive a plurality of outputs from the data input circuit and the coefficient input circuit for carrying out a plurality of multiplcations and additions; and an adder circuit operative to receive a plurality of outputs from said multiplier circuit and the data input circuit and supply a plurality of data to a third external terminal group and the data input circuit for carrying out a plurality of additions and subtractions as well as overflow detection and correction. Data connection in each of the circuits is altered depending on the combination of logics "0" and "1" entered through a fourth external terminal group so that one of a functional modes is selected.
