The invention concerns new topical cosmetic compositions for use in artificial tanning and/or browning of the skin, including, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, dihydroxyacetone as the self-tanning agent, and which are essentially characterized by the fact that they contain in addition at least one alkylpolyoside in association with at least one fatty alcohol. The compositions according to the invention have improved colouring power and stability. The invention also concerns the use of these compositions in the abovementioned cosmetic application.

L'invention concerne de nouvelles compositions cosmétiques à usage topique plus particulièrement destinées au bronzage et/ou au brunissage artificiels de la peau, comprenant, dans un support cosmétiquement acceptable, de la dihydroxyacétone à titre d'agent autobronzant, et qui sont essentiellement caractérisées par le fait qu'elles contiennent en outre au moins un alkylpolyoside en association avec au moins un alcool gras. Les compositions selon l'invention présentent un pouvoir de coloration et une stabilité améliorés. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de ces compositions dans l'application cosmétique susmentionnée.
