A dining table consists of a locating frame which is supported by a frame support and is provided with a sliding mechanism mounted thereon for locating a first table top. A second table top is held between two fastening supports of the frame support. The sliding mechanism comprises two slide rail members, two slide wheels, and two slide plates provided with a traction unit fastened therewith. The second table top is actuated by the sliding mechanism to extract or retract.
