Abstract of the Disclosure A diode ring mixer having two ring mixing circuits is disclosed. Each ring mixing circuit comprises four diodes series connected in a closed ring, two non-adjacent diode junctions being connected to a signal source through a first pair of conductors and the other pair of non-adjacent diode junctions being connected to an oscillator through a second pair of conductors. One of the two conductor pairs is coupled to a ferromagnetic filter. The two ferromagnetic filters, i.e. one from each mixing circuit, are coupled together by means of a further pair of conductors terminated at each end by a coupling loop. The loops are respectively perpendicular to that pair of conductors which connect the filter to the mixing circuit. The filters each comprise a body of gyromagnetic material around which the loops are passed and that pair of conductors which connect the filter to the mixing circuit is arranged symmetrically with respect to the plane of symmetry of the body. The body is magnetically prepolarised parallel to these conductors and perpendicular to the plane of symmetry.
