A system for the detection of bacteria antibody complexes. A sample to be tested for the presence of a bacteria is placed in a medium which medium contains antibodies attached to a surface for binding to a specific bacteria to form an antigen to antibody complex. The medium is contacted with an incident beam of light energy. Some of the energy is emitted from the medium as a lower resonance enhanced Raman backscattered energy. The presence or absence of the microorganism is detected based on the characteristic spectral peak of said microorganism.
L'invention concerne un système pour la détection de complexes bactéries-anticorps. On place un échantillon à tester pour la recherche de bactéries, dans un milieu contenant des anticorps fixés à une surface, destinés à se fixer à des bactéries spécifiques de sorte qu'un complexe antigène-anticorps soit formé. On met le milieu en contact avec un faisceau incident d'énergie lumineuse. Une partie de l'énergie est émise par le milieu sous forme d'énergie rétrodiffusée par effet Raman accrue à résonance plus faible. La présence ou l'absence du micro-organisme recherché est détectée en fonction de la crête spectrale caractéristique de celui-ci.
