A gas-fired heating and ventilation system includes a blower which draws air through a recirculation damper from a building and through a direct gas-fired burner from a fresh air inlet. A passive control damper is mounted to bypass air around the burner and to thereby regulate the air flow through the burner for optimum combustion over a wide range of operating conditions.
La présente invention a pour objet un système de chauffage et de ventilation alimenté au gaz comportant une soufflante utilisée pour aspirer l'air contenu dans un bâtiment à travers un registre et le remettre en circulation à travers un brûleur au gaz où il est combiné avec l'air admis par une prise d'air frais. Un registre de circulation à commande passive est monté de manière à détourner le flux d'air admis à l'intérieur du brûleur et ainsi réguler la circulation d'air à travers le brûleur pour une combustion optimale pour une vaste gamme de conditions de fonctionnement.
