ABSTRACT Apparatus for changing sheets with information printed thereon for use in a device which projects an image of a non-transparent picture through use of top illumination thereof. The device includes an image transmitter permitting display of a picture scene outside the device on a separate image screen or on a mat screen plate and a magazine for holding a stack of sheets bearing pictures. The uppermost picture on the stack is positioned in a plane parallel to the plane of the window of the episcope. The magazine includes a first frame member and a second frame member which is reciprocable parallel to the window for cyclic exchange of the uppermost picture within the magazine. The episcope includes a releasable holder in which one of the frame members may be fixed in a position in which during projection the window plane of the magazine abuts the sheet containing the information for projection.
