An interactive photo kiosk in which, in one embodiment thereof, presents an upright open face which enables a user to stand directly in front of the kiosk, which optically defocuses the background image and substitutes a selected computer generated image, and which enables the user to pose and freeze a selected image made visible to the user on a display screen (S20, S21). Users may choose from among a menu of different computer generated foreground images. In a preferred embodiment, the selected frozen image is in digital form and is processed electrically to form a single digital multiple image of the same image in a selected area format which when delivered to a printing apparatus (S22, S23) for hard copy print-out, produces a multiple image of the same frozen image on a single sheet wherein each of the multiple images can be peeled off the single sheet and used separately from each other (S24, S25).
L'invention est un kiosque photo interactif qui, dans l'une de ses concrétisations, présente une face verticale qui permet à un utilisateur de se placer directement devant lui, qui défocalise optiquement l'image d'arrière-plan et lui substitue une image synthétique sélectionnée, et qui permet à l'utilisateur de placer et d'immobiliser une image sélectionnée affichée sur un écran (S20, S21) visible par lui. Un menu d'images d'avant-plan synthétiques différentes est présenté à l'utilisateur. Dans la concrétisation privilégiée de l'invention, l'image immobilisée sélectionnée est présentée en format numérique et est traitée électriquement pour produire une mosaïque numérique de cette image qui, quand elle est transmise à un appareil d'impression (S22, S23), produit sur une même feuille une mosaïque de l'image immobilisée où chacune des images (S24, S25) peut être enlevée de la feuille et être utilisée séparément.
