ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Electrostatic fluidized bed coating apparatus utilizes an electrode which provides a multiplicity of charge-concentra- ting portions, into contact with which an air stream is directed to effect ionization thereof. The ionized air is then used for simultaneous fluidization and charging of a particulate coating material.
