2116018 9304900 PCTABS00020 A direction changing device for use with the conventional automobile which is capable of being mounted to the conventional chassis. The device is operated by the power source of a front wheel driving automobile and the conventional driving type and comprises a cylinder (11) with a downward extendable piston (14), the cylinder further having wheel lifting motor (12) fixed to one side thereof and wheel orienting motor (13) movably mounted to the other side thereof, a foldable bracket (23) and a direction change wheel (22) movably attached to the lower end of the piston, the foldable bracket (23) being locked in place when completely folded and unfolded, whereby, when the direction of the automobile is desired to be changed, the direction change wheel (22) will move to upright position resulting in rear wheels of the automobile being lifted slightly from a ground upon the downward movement of the piston, turn to the desired direction, and then move the automobile in the desired direction by the driving force of the front wheel after the rotational angle has been adjusted.
