Directional Information System Abstract The present invention relates to a method and system for enabling a user to determine a desired geographical route between supplied locations. To this end, a means is employed for supplying to a central processor information identifying geographic locations. The central processor, after correlating the identi- fying information to geographic locations, generates routing directions for travel between the two locations. The routing directions are made available for outputting to the user through a plurality of output devices.
