The invention relates to an ozone generator comprising a plurality of hollow cathode tubes which are arranged between the bases of tubes and which define an inner area through which gas flows and an outer jacket area which can be impinged upon by a coolant. A cooling unit comprising an evaporator, a compressor and a condenser is provided for cooling purposes. Efficiency is particularly high by virtue of the fact that the evaporator of the cooling unit is directly integrated into the outer jacket of the ozone generator. Production costs are reduced by virtue of the fact that fewer, more corrosion- resistant materials are used.
La présente invention concerne un générateur d'ozone comprenant une pluralité de tubes à cathode creuse qui sont montés entre des plaques tubulaires et qui définissent d'un côté un espace intérieur pouvant être traversé par du gaz et d'un autre côté un espace d'enveloppe pouvant être alimenté en fluide de refroidissement. Une unité de refroidissement comprenant un évaporateur, un compresseur et un condensateur permet d'assurer un refroidissement. Le rendement de ce générateur d'ozone est particulièrement élevé parce que l'évaporateur de l'unité de refroidissement est intégré directement dans l'enveloppe du générateur d'ozone. L'utilisation de moins de matériaux résistants à la corrosion permet de réduire les coûts de production.
