The disabling device immobilizes a motorized vehicle of the type having a primary clutch provided with a face plate spaced apart from a movable sleeve by sleeve towers. The clutch is connected for rotation to a secondary clutch by a drive belt which is overlain by an elongated guard to protect an operator. The disabling device is made up of a J-hook having a curved portion which extends around a sleeve tower. The shank of the J-hook extends through an opening formed in the guard and is locked in that position by means of a padlock having a shackle which is received in an aperture in the shank.
