ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE New diazo pigments of the formula Image wherein R1 is hydrogen, alkyl containing 1-4 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl con- taining 5-6 carbon atoms, phenyl, phenyl substituted by chloro, bromo, alkyl containing 1-4 carbon atoms, or alkoxy containing 1-4 carbon atoms; X1 is hydrogen, chloro, bromo, alkyl containing 1-4 carbon atoms, alkoxy containing 1-4 carbon atoms or phenoxy; and Y1 and Z1 are hydrogen, chloro, bromo, alkyl containing 1-4 carbon atoms, or alkoxy containing 1-4 carbon atoms. These diazo pigments are useful for pigmenting high-molecular organic material. They demonstrate good fastness to light, migration and weathering.
