A disc cartridge storing a flexible magnetic disc of the recording capacity of 100MB or above, provided with: first and second positioning reference holes in the lower face of the main body of the cartridge at the right and left corners respectively surrounded by the front face wall which is on the front side when the cartridge is inserted into a disc drive, the right and the left side wall which cross at right angles with the front face wall, and the periphery of the magnetic disc; a first capacity detecting hole and an erroneous recording protection hole at the right and left corners respectively surrounded by the rear face wall of the main body of the cartridge, the right and left side walls which cross at right angles with the rear face wall, and the periphery of the magnetic disc; and a second capacity detecting hole formed on the peripheral side of the magnetic disc near the first positioning reference hole. By forming these holes, parts to be detected by a detection switch are distributed in the lower face of the main body of the cartridge to thereby detect the condition of the disc cartridge such as the type of magnetic discs without fail.
L'invention concerne une cartouche de disque permettant de stocker un disque magnétique flexible d'une capacité égale ou supérieure à 100 MB, la cartouche étant prévue avec deux trous de repère de positionnement dans la face inférieure du corps principal de la cartouche, aux coins droit et gauche respectivement. Les trous sont entourés par la paroi de la face antérieure se trouvant sur le côté antérieur lorsqu'on insère la cartouche dans un lecteur de disque; par les parois latérales gauche et droite qui se croisent à angle droit avec la paroi de face antérieure, et par la périphérie du disque magnétique. Un premier trou de détection de capacité et un trou de protection contre les enregistrements erronés, situés aux coins droit et gauche respectivement, sont entourés par la paroi de face postérieure du corps principal de la cartouche, par les parois latérales gauche et droite qui se croisent à angle droit avec la paroi de face postérieure, et par la périphérie du disque magnétique; et un deuxième trou de détection de capacité formé sur le côté périphérique du disque magnétique, près du premier trou de référence de positionnement. La formation de ces trous permet à des parties détectées au moyen d'un commutateur de détection d'être réparties dans la face inférieure du corps principal de la cartouche de disque, en vue d'une détection sans erreur de l'état de la cartouche de disque, tel que le type de disque magnétique.
