DISC COATING METHOD ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a manufacturing method for an optical type recording and reproducing disc or the like. The method comprises the steps of, applying a coating liquid to opposite planar surfaces of the disc, except for the central portions, by rotating the disc and simultaneously dipping the opposite planar surfaces of the disc into the coating liquid, and thereafter, simultaneously curing the coating liquid applied to the opposite planar surfaces of the disc while rotating the disc. The resulting coating is extremely uniform in thickness and the disc is distortion free. - 1 -
