ABSTRACT Disc playback apparatus. A playback apparatus for use with a disc on which main and subdigital data have been recorded in a common track. The appa- ratus comprises respective buffer memories for the main and sub- digital data reproduced from the disc and control means responsive to subdigital data read-out from its buffer memory for searching a playback location of the main digital data.
