ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a disc playback apparatus using a disc on which main digital data and sub-digital data to selectively reproduce said main digital data have been recorded, whereby a disc on which a predetermined number of the main digital data being costituting one BLOCK, an header signal being including a predetermined number of bytes each indicating the digital value "0" in the beginning of each of the BLOCK, and having the length thereof corresponding to relative variation of time base between the the reproduced main digital data and the reproduced sub-digital data, and an address signal following the header signal and being including a start signal having bits of digital value of "1" and following address data being consisting of a predetermined number of bytes indicating one address and the repeated thereof have been recorded is played back.
