ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a disc record reproducing apparatus for reproducing a disc on which a PCM (pulse code modulation) signal in the form of an RLLC (run length limited code) is recorded, a reproduced PCM signal therefrom is frequency-divided at a constant frequency dividing ratio, a frequency-divided PCM signal is compared with a refer- ence frequency signal, and then the rotation of the disc record is controlled by a compared output.
