PATENT Abstract of the Disclosure DISC REPRODUCING APPARATUS A disc reproducing apparatus of the type having information prerecorded in the form of pits or other discrete indicia on tracks on a rotating record wherein the track access time of the information playback transducer can be increased by simultaneously increasing the rotational speed of the record from the speed normally employed during playback of the recorded information and selectively filtering out the pit component at a lower time constant when the record is rotated at such higher speed.
