The present invention relates to a truck wheel mounting arrangement of the disc wheel rim type, whereby stud-sleeves are placed on the wheel studs (bolts) for centering the oversized mounting holes of the disc wheel rims on the studs; to be tightened with wheel nuts of a special shape to accommadate the stud-sleeves. A wheel nut of a special shape having a deep seated thread-start to accommodate the stud-sleeves and to extend the tensile stress span over a larger length of the wheel studs; to lessen the rigidity of the tightness exerted by the wheel nuts; the rigidity of tightness that contributes to cracking of the wheel studs and/or loosening of the wheel nuts.
