The invention relates to a dielectric-barrier discharge lamp, comprising electrodes arranged on the wall of the discharge vessel. Said lamp has a VUV/VIS-reflection layer (6) made from a material with a high secondary electron emission coefficient on at least one section of the inner wall of the discharge vessel. A fluorescent material layer (7) is placed around the VUV/VIS-reflection layer (6). At least one section (8) in said fluorescent material layer (7) is devoid of fluorescent material partially revealing the underlying VUV/VIS-reflection layer (6) and being arranged at least in the immediate proximity of one or several electrodes (4) of the lamp. As a result, the igniting function of the lamp is improved, especially when igniting in the dark.
L'invention concerne une lampe à décharge à barrière diélectrique, comportant des électrodes placées sur la paroi de l'enceinte de décharge. Cette lampe présente, sur au moins une partie de la paroi intérieure de l'enceinte de décharge, une couche de réflexion VUV/VIS (6) constituée d'un matériau présentant un haut coefficient d'émission d'électrons secondaires. Une couche de substance luminescente (7) est placée en outre sur la couche de réflexion VUV/VIS (6). Au moins une zone partielle (8) dépourvue de substance luminescente, prévue dans la couche de substance luminescente (7), dégage partiellement la couche de réflexion VUV/VIS (6) sous-jacente et se trouve en outre au moins à proximité directe d'une ou plusieurs électrodes (4) de la lampe. Les propriétés d'amorçage de la lampe sont ainsi améliorées, notamment lors de l'amorçage dans l'obscurité.
