A downstream connector unit (GB) consisting of connecting pins (FB1) is electrically and permanently connected to a movable assembly (EB). An upstream connector unit (GA) is electrically and permanently connected to a fixed power supply unit (BA) by flexible wires (CA). A carriage (K) alternatively transfers said upstream unit (GA) from a forward position providing an electrical connection (PB) supplying the movable assembly, to a rear position (PA) separated from said downstream unit (GB). The carriage separates from the upstream unit when it leaves said unit in its forward position. The electrical connection of the invention is ideal for electrically supplying electromagnetic agitation inductors carried by an oscillating ingot mould in a continuous casting steel plant.

Un bloc de connexion aval (GB) constitué de fiches de connexion (FB1) est raccordé électriquement de manière permanente à un ensemble mobile (EB). Un bloc de connexion amont (GA) est raccordé élelctriquement de manière permanente à un bloc d'alimentation fixe (BA) par des conducteurs souples (CA). Un chariot (K) transfere le bloc amont (GA) alternativement entre une position avant (PB) réalisant la connexion électrique qui permet d'alimenter l'ensemble mobile, et une position arrière (PA) à distance du bloc aval (GB). Ce chariot se sépare du bloc amont lorsqu'il doit laisser ce bloc dans cette position avant. L'invention s'applique notament à l'alimentation électrique d'inducteurs de brassage électromagnétique portés par une lingotière oscillante d'une installation de coulée continue d'acier.
