The invention relates to signatures obtained by a method for analyzing nucleic acid, wherein said nucleic acids are partially sequenced, not using all 4 chain extension terminators, a signature is generated, corresponding to the partial sequence, said signature being compared with other theoretical or actual signatures to analyze said nucleic acid.

L'invention se rapporte à des signatures obtenues par un procédé d'analyse d'acides nucléiques qui sont partiellement séquencés. Pour ce faire, on n'utilise pas tous les quatres terminateurs d'extension de chaîne. Une signature, correspondant à la séquence partielle, est alors générée. On compare cette signature avec d'autres signatures théoriques ou actuelles afin d'analyser les acides nucléiques.
