ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fiberization apparatus for treating cellulose and particularly paper flakes that have been formed from waste paper that: is ground to a set particle size that has a rotating disc at a position between two stationary discs. The discs have teeth which are formed in two sections, an inner section closest to the axis of rotation of the rotating disc, an outer section adjacent the peripheries of both of the rotating discs and the stationary discs. The inner section of teeth are formed by wider spacings between the teeth than the outer section, and an annular groove is formed where the inner sections of the teeth and the outer sections of the teeth intersect.
