DISHWASHER VENTILATION BY NATURAL AIR FLOW ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A dishwasher including a wash compartment (1) with a main door opening towards the front (2) and attached at the bottom of the machine. The compartment has an in-flow opening (9) and an out-flow opening (3) which communicate with the outside and provide a natural air-flow through the wash compartment. The in-flow opening (9) is defined, when the main door is closed, by the lower edge (12) of an inside wall of the main door (8) and by a transverse section below the wash compartment (4) molded in the shape of a tub into which the aforementioned lower edge (12) inserts. The tub (4) collects part of the water sprayed by the water jets (13) housed in the tub in order to close the in-flow opening (9) when the water jets (13) are in operation. When the water jets are not in operation, the tub (4) empties itself, re-opening the in-flow opening (9), through a calibrated path (14) which allows the water to flow towards the bottom of the wash compartment.
