A method of washing dishware/tableware in an automatic dishwashing machine having a single or multi-compartment product dispenser which is normally closed and sealed after charging the machine and prior to delivery of the dishwashing product into the wash liquor and wherein the dishwashing product comprises one or more dishwashing compositions in a unit dose form having a degree of deformability greater than about 10% and a shape and size such that the dishwashing product occupies more than about 60%, preferably more than about 85% of the volume of the corresponding compartment of the product dispenser in its closed state. The method allows for optimum delivery of active components across different washing machine types.

L'invention concerne un procédé de lavage de vaisselle/articles de table dans un lave-vaisselle automatique comportant un distributeur de produit détergent à un ou plusieurs compartiments, lequel est normalement fermé hermétiquement après le chargement de la machine et avant le déversement du produit de lavage de vaisselle dans la solution de lavage. Le produit de lavage de vaisselle contient une ou plusieurs compositions de lavage de vaisselle sous forme de doses uniques, présentant un degré d'aptitude à la déformation supérieur à environ 10 % et une forme et une taille adaptées pour que le produit de lavage de vaisselle occupe plus de 60 % environ, de préférence plus de 85 % environ, du volume du compartiment correspondant du distributeur de produit dans sa position fermée. Par ailleurs, ce procédé permet de distribuer de façon optimale les composants actifs dans différents types de machines de lavage.
