ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Liquid disinfectant and/or sanitizer cleaning compo- sitions are provided in the form of homogeneous aqueous solutions which comprise water, a germicidal quaternary ammonium halide compound and a glycoside surfactant and in which the weight ratio of the quaternary ammonium halide compound to the glycoside surfactant is at least 0.65:1. Such compositions may also optionally include additional ingredients such as water soluble detergent builders, water miscible organic solvents, hydrotropes, perfumes, dyes, colorants, thickeners, soil suspending agents, deodorizers, ammonia, aerosol propellants and the like.
