A brake rigging for a railway vehicle having a singular truck-mounted brake apparatus for generating a braking force and a plurality of disk caliper assemblies (100) for applying the braking force to each wheel (62). Wedge-like elements (90) are rigidly attached to the braking beams (2, 3) of the truck- mounted brake apparatus and engage a pair of rollers (124, 134) that are pivotably mounted on corresponding ends of a pair of pivoted levers (120, 130) disposed within a disk caliper assembly. The wedge-like elements transmit a generated braking force to the levers, the rocking of which in opposite directions is effective to force the brake shoes against the respective opposite sides of a disc brake rotor to exert the braking force thereon.
L'invention concerne une timonerie de frein pour véhicule ferroviaire qui comporte un dispositif de freinage unique monté sur bogie et servant à produire une force de freinage, et une pluralité d'ensembles étriers (100) de disque qui appliquent la force de freinage sur chaque roue (62). Des éléments (90) du type coin sont fixés fermement aux barres (2, 3) de freinage du dispositif et entrent en contact avec deux cylindres (124, 134), montés pivotants sur les extrémités correspondantes de deux leviers (120, 130) pivotants placés dans un ensemble étrier de disque. Les éléments du type coin transmettent aux leviers la force de freinage produite, le mouvement de bascule des leviers dans des directions opposées entraînant l'application des semelles de frein contre les côtés opposés respectifs d'un rotor de frein à disque de manière à imprimer la force de freinage sur celui-ci.
