ABSTRACT: Conventional automotive disk brakes are made of one piece and must be completely disposed after their life. The ventilation docks which provide cooling, are made within the unit. In the present case, the disk brake is made of 2 kind of components: The holder and the inserts located all around the holder on both faces. Each insert is anchored to the holder via screws in each corner of the insert (fig #1). The ventilation of the disk is made by channels between the holder and the inserts. The opposite face of the rotor has the same pattern staggered half the angle that occupied one insert.
