ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A disk brake device comprising a fixed bracket, a brake caliper having a pair of arms, a fixed friction pad mounted on one arm, a movable friction pad mounted on the other arm, and a brake disk between the friction pads. The fixed friction pad, the retainer and the retainer receiving hole are all formed into a partially cutaway circle so as to prevent rotation of the fixed friction pad.
