A disk brake, especially for a commercial vehicle, comprising a brake caliper which is fixed on a brake carrier of the commercial vehicle by means of two fixing elements such that it is axially displaceable in relation to the disk brake whereby one fixing element is embodied as a fixed bearing and the other fixing element is embodied as a loose bearing with a sliding bushing inserted into a bore of the brake caliper, whereby the inner or outer contour thereof deviates from that of a circle, whereby a guide bar, having for example a round cross-section, is guided in the sliding bushing. The sliding bushing of the loose bearing is provided with at least one fixing element which, when the sliding bushing is mounted in a precise position, fixes the sliding bushing and is inserted into a recess of the bore.

La présente invention concerne un frein à disque destiné notamment à un véhicule utilitaire, comprenant un étrier de frein (2) qui englobe un disque de frein (1) et est fixé à un support de frein (3) du véhicule utilitaire au moyen de deux éléments de fixation, de façon à pouvoir effectuer un mouvement axial par rapport au disque de frein (1). Selon l'invention: un élément de fixation se présente sous la forme d'un palier fixe (4) et l'autre élément de fixation se présente sous la forme d'un palier mobile (5) avec un manchon de coulissement (6) mis en place dans un alésage pratiqué dans l'étrier de frein (2), le contour intérieur et/ou extérieur dudit manchon de coulissement n'ayant pas une forme circulaire; et un longeron de guidage (8) de section par exemple arrondie est guidé dans le manchon de coulissement (6). Le frein à disque est conçu de sorte que le manchon de coulissement (6) du palier mobile (5) est doté d'au moins un élément de blocage (10) qui, lorsque le manchon de coulissement (6) est monté en bonne position, se trouve à l'intérieur de la cavité (11) de l'alésage de façon à bloquer ledit manchon.
