ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a disk cartridge in which a sheet-like recording meidum is fixed to the periphery of a circular center plate which has an almost square center hole and an almost rectangular eccentric hole, the sheet-like reocrding meidum is rotatably accommodated in a cartridge comprising an upper half and a lower half, and the circular center plate is loosely fitted in a turntable insertion hole provided in the lower half, the sheet-like recording medium is positioned in the cartridge by means of restricting the movement of the circular center plate on the central side thereof, so that the diameter of the circular center plate is much decreased and the aberration of tracking or the like during recording or reproducing is prevented as firm as possible.
