A disk chipper includes a bedknife, the bedknife having opposing first and second surfaces, and a chipper frame, the chipper frame having an opening for receiving the bedknife, the opening being defined by opposing first and second surfaces for facing the first and second surfaces of the bedknife, respectively. The disk chipper further includes a wedge, the wedge being movable in a first direction between the second surface of the bedknife and the second surface of the chipper frame to move the first surface of the bedknife in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction toward the first surface of the chipper frame. A method for fastening a bedknife to a disk chipper is also disclosed.
L'invention se rapporte à une déchiqueteuse à disque comportant un couteau fixe doté d'une première et d'une seconde surface, et un bâti de déchiqueteuse présentant une ouverture destinée à recevoir le couteau fixe, ladite ouverture étant définie par une première et une seconde surface en opposition conçues pour faire face respectivement à la première et à la seconde surface du couteau fixe. Cette déchiqueteuse à disque comporte par ailleurs un coin susceptible de se déplacer le long d'une première direction entre la seconde surface du couteau fixe et la seconde surface du bâti de la déchiqueteuse de manière à déplacer la première surface du couteau fixe le long d'une seconde direction sensiblement perpendiculaire à la première direction, et ce en direction de la première surface du bâti de la déchiqueteuse. L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de fixation d'un couteau fixe sur une déchiqueteuse à disque.
